My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to each student's needs. Whether you are preparing for A Level Politics, finding a university course challenging, or need help with an essay or assessment, I’ll work with you to build your confidence and develop a clear understanding of the subject.

I have over 15 years’ experience teaching Politics and International Relations at university level and 3 years' experience of private tuition. I bring this experience into every lesson. I can help you understand difficult theories and concepts, structure and develop strong arguments, refine your essay-writing skills, and prepare effectively for exams and assessments.

Lessons are interactive with plenty of opportunity to ask questions, discuss ideas and work through areas you find difficult. I aim to create a relaxed environment where you feel comfortable saying 'I don’t understand this'. That is often where the best learning begins!

Most importantly, I adapt my teaching to you. We can focus on specific topics, work through an assignment, develop your academic skills, or simply build your confidence in the field of Politics.
