Andreas in a nutshell
I focus on conversation in my lessons. I studied German and taught it at German schools therefore I am well trained in German grammar. However, if you want to learn a language you want to communicate. Grammar is your second priority as you already learn the structure of sentences by talking.

I focus on conversation in my lessons. I studied German and taught it at German schools therefore I am well trained in German grammar. However, if you want to learn a language you want to communicate. Grammar is your second priority as you already learn the structure of sentences by talking.
I give you the time you need to build sentences. I myself had to learn languages in a foreign environment and I therefore know how important it is to feel safe and encouraged to continue. Nothing is more disturbing if someone interrupts you while you speak. Hence I focus on a relaxed environment without stress. From time to time I will correct a word or the formulation of a sentence but only in a manner that encourages you to go on.
To start a conversation we will find topics you are interested in. I do have many interests like history, science-fiction, music and literature but also technical devices, creating something with software like InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Blender and Davinci Resolve. I do play several music instruments and I write texts like poems. So there is a lot we can talk about and I am open to more. I am very keen to learn as much as possible about other cultures. What is the food like in your home country (I like to cook)? What languages or dialects are spoken there? How is life in general like families and society as a whole?
So let's talk, talk, talk and that way learn, learn, learn but with a lot of fun. See you soon!
