I have taught to all age groups before, especially adults and, in my experience, the best way to learn a language is when we are highly motivated and focusing on topics that matter to us. I believe there is no better way to acquire fluency than actually speaking and practicing, for which my lessons have a bit of grammar, and then I like to practice what we learn with my students by engaging in guided conversations when needed, until the structure becomes a habit and they don’t need to think that much before using that particular grammar structure, and all this using examples of topics they find interesting or are trying to acquire more vocabulary about.
I am a language learner myself, so I can say I know the struggles of learning a second language and know how to solve questions with examples and respect my students learning speed.
I like to personalize my lessons, so we focus on what the student is interested or struggling with.
