I allowed my students could ask many questions to me, as long as related to the topic that we are talked about. To avoid the boredom, I would like to give time for them to tell about their school, their teacher, their quiz, and many more. I won't to become only a tutor for them, but also their friend or older sister.
For online learning, I use Zoom rather than Google Meet cause it is the easiest platform for me. Even though I live in Indonesia and still use 4G, I am sure that my internet connection is good and fast to provide online learning.
To keep it professional, usually I don't ask question outside the study time. If the students wanted me to explain their problems outside the time, they have to confirm it first, so I can prepare it well.
