I have a dynamic and flexible approach to learning based on individual learning needs. I produce in-depth written and visual resources which encourage understanding and engagement before introducing a combination of collaborative and independent writing tasks to check comprehension. I encourage creativity and outside the box thinking. I am also skilled at exam preparation whilst recognising the value of learning beyond exam conditions.

I try to create an environment where students feel able to express confusion and ask complex questions which I am always happy to answer or discuss. I am passionate about approaching English & Humanities subjects from a variety of social and historical perspectives. I am also passionate about current affairs and keen to help students understand how historical events and literature have influenced the world around us today.
