I am an English teacher with 20 years of experience in the education field.

I lived in the United States of America for 22 years. I taught English as a second language as well as Spanish for companies and government entities during 6 years. I had the pleasure of working with individuals and groups from beginner to advanced levels. My students came from diverse business sectors, from small startup companies to global corporations.
Prior to this, I was also an English teacher for the Adami Academy in Montevideo, Uruguay for 4 years.

In my former English Teacher roles, I exercised a calculated and methodical approach to problem-solving. While I am independently motivated, I appreciate collective efforts and collaborate productively with group settings. Moreover, I am competent in customized teaching and lesson planning with proficiency in class instruction.

I have vast experience in the planning, development and delivery of high quality in-person classes as well as online classes. I use a combination of traditional and progressive methodologies. Although I mostly use textbooks for beginners, I also enjoy developing tailored lessons for all levels of learning to attend to the specific needs of individuals.

While managing the logistics of the move, I studied industry news, trends and events to keep my knowledge current. I am now fully settled and prepared to take the next steps in my career.
