Hello! My name is Amy, and I am a trainee teacher with a degree in Biomedical Science. I am passionate about helping students build confidence in their learning and truly enjoy working with each individual to bring out their best. My lessons are supportive, engaging, and always tailored to you, your unique goals, and your learning style.

I believe that no two students are the same, so I take the time to get to know you—how you learn, what motivates you, and where you feel you need the most support. This helps me create personalised lessons that not only target key areas of improvement but also keep things interesting and relevant to your interests and future goals.

In terms of format, my lessons usually begin with a quick check-in and a review of previous material before diving into new content. I use a mix of explanations, active discussion, visual aids, and practice questions to help you fully understand the material. Whether we're breaking down complex scientific concepts or improving exam technique, the aim is always to build clarity and confidence.

As someone with a science background, I’m especially comfortable supporting students in biology and related topics, but I am always happy to adapt to your needs. Most importantly, I work hard to build a positive, respectful learning environment where you feel heard, supported, and challenged.
