My personal experience has shown me that the best approach to teaching is to find the best ways for each individual student to learn, whether that be through visual stimulation, or by simple conversation and debate. Because of this, my first session would largely involve getting to know each student better as a person, as well as discovering their overall goal and the best way to achieve it. Whatever level a student is at, or whatever it is they need help with, I will always find the best way to reach their goal, whether that's personal or academic.
I'll help you develop deeper analysis, and give you tips and tricks that might help you achieve your goal.
My lessons would be solely focused around you, as a student, going at whatever pace feels comfortable enough to ensure for a productive and helpful session. I will provide thought provoking questions that will ultimately aid you in coming to your own conclusions about any given text. Regardless of the topic, I'd ensure that our conversations were engaging and that your thoughts were heard. Who knows, we might learn something from each other :)
With me, you could also learn and develop the tools to write interesting pieces of poetry, prose or any for of creative writing. As an aspiring writer myself, I always want to encourage creative and imaginative minds.
