My approach is supportive, relaxed and completely centred around the individual. I understand that sometimes you know what you want to achieve, but actually finding the motivation, confidence or organisation to get there can be the difficult part.
Sessions would start by looking at where you are now, what you would like to change and what might be getting in the way. From there, we can break things down into realistic, manageable goals and find strategies that work for you rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
I can support students with motivation, confidence, organisation, time management, goal setting, routines, accountability and managing the pressures that can come alongside studying.
Before university, I spent over seven years in the British Army as a Combat Medical Technician. This taught me a huge amount about communication, resilience, discipline and supporting people through challenging situations. I am now studying Physiotherapy at university, which has further developed my interest in helping people work towards meaningful, achievable goals.
I know that everyone's circumstances are different, and I want my sessions to feel like a genuinely comfortable and non-judgemental space. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out, that's something we can work through together.
Sessions can be held online, and where appropriate I am also happy to offer support via email for students who feel more comfortable communicating in writing.
