I am a first class BSc Psychology graduate from Newcastle University, who has an A* in A-level Psychology. I am experienced in one-to-one A-level tuition and also have the expertise to provide university-level tuition.

I can make my lessons in a format that suits you, based on your learning style - powerpoint presentations, verbal lectures, going through past paper questions together. I understand that individual needs are different and I'm more than happy to work to your strengths.

With previous A-level students, I have first identified their areas of weakness (e.g. understanding specific content, or in writing exam-style questions) and created lessons based on these areas of difficulty. If someone struggled particularly with answering long-form questions, so we have focussed on this area and gone through the steps of writing 8-16 markers together. Other students have had particular areas of content that they struggled to understand, so I made powerpoint presentations to break the content down for them, and then helped them answer exam-style questions in this area of difficulty. This adaptable technique has improved my previous students grades from Ds to As!

I am conscious of providing regular checkpoints throughout sessions to ensure your understanding is up to date and you aren't getting lost. My background in Psychology has allowed me to be conscious of individual differences when learning, including the different needs of neurodiverse individuals. I am a friendly communicator who is willing to work with you to help you succeed!

I am currently living in Nottingham and can provide online tuition, or potentially in person tuition if you live locally to me.
