Science and maths can sometimes feel like a lot of information to memorise, but I believe the best way to learn is to actually understand what you are doing and why. My lessons are designed to make difficult topics feel much more manageable, while building the confidence to tackle questions independently.

I like to keep lessons relaxed, friendly and interactive. I’ll start by finding out what you already know and which areas you find difficult, so we can focus our time on what will be most useful for you. Rather than simply talking through a topic, I’ll break it down into smaller sections, use diagrams and examples where helpful, and ask questions throughout to make sure everything is making sense. We’ll then work through practice questions together before giving you the opportunity to try some independently.

Every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style depending on what works best for you. If you’re preparing for GCSE or A-level exams, we can focus on exam technique, past-paper questions and understanding exactly what examiners are looking for. If there’s a particular topic you’ve never quite understood, we can slow things down and go back to the basics without any pressure. Equally, if you’re already confident, I can challenge you with more difficult questions and help you push your understanding further.

Lessons are typically one hour and take place online, making them easy to fit around school, university and other commitments.

I have a degree in Neuroscience and am currently completing a Master’s in Pharmacology at King’s College London. I’m particularly passionate about Biology and enjoy making complicated scientific ideas simple, memorable and interesting. I also teach Maths and general Science at GCSE level.

Most importantly, I want my lessons to be somewhere you feel comfortable saying “I don’t understand” - because that’s exactly where the best learning starts!
