First, I get to understand exactly where the student is struggling and losing marks.
Once I understand the areas that are bringing their grade down, I can focus my teaching down to those weak points.
Each lesson is dedicated to tackling of one these weak points.
In each lesson, we go through questions and I see how the student answers and tackles each question.
If there is a lack of knowledge, then we work on that.
Otherwise, if they are struggling with application, we break down the question into simple steps to ensure that the process is made as simple as possible.
Then, we move on once they understand.
At the end of every lesson, we make sure that they fully understand that part before moving on to the next thing.
