During my sessions, I provide materials and work for my students to work on. If the lesson is conducted online, I would be emailing the work to you, at the end of every session, so you have time to look over it, before we use it in the next session.
Depending on the age of the client, I would base all work on the texts they’re studying at school, to prepare them for any testing.
I’ll also be happy to aid with homework they’ve already been set, guiding them to the answers, whilst allowing them to be fully in control of their answers.
I have been tutoring for years now, working with children and teenagers from all backgrounds. I have experience teaching people with mental, physical and learning difficulties, which makes me feel very prepared to aid anyone who is under my guidance.
I firmly believe in positive reinforcement, as most people respond well to being praised and supported through their educational journey. I work, mostly, with the mentality that, if you want to learn, I want to teach. However, even if the student is hesitant and doesn’t want to do the work, I find it intriguing to find ways to inspire and push people to be excited for our sessions.
I prefer to teach online but I am always happy to hold our sessions in person, as I know that a lot of people work best in a more personal environment.
My main goal is to help others to reach their true potential, and to show them that they have all the answers inside. Sometimes people just need an extra push.
