I am happy to provide in-person or online lessons. I can provde lessons in GCSE English Language, GCSE English Literature, and A-Level English Literature. I acheived a grade 9 in GCSE English Language, a grade 9 in GCSE English Literature, and an A in A-Level English Literature. I am starting a degree in Philosophy and Literature in September 2026. I have worked as a cover supervisor/ teaching assistant for an educational recruitment agency, and so I have some classroom experience. I also recieved training in how to manage classroom behaviour, how to support students' learning and in safeguarding. I have a DBS check. I am passionate about helping students to achieve their potential, working at the student's pace, and developing their understanding of literature. I also hope to nurture students' love of literature beyond the curriculum; this is something that helped me with my GCSE and A-level qualifications in English Language/ English Literature. I know how important it is to have a teacher/ tutor who believes in your potential, and I hope to provide this to students during lessons. I look forward to tailoring lessons to each individual student during one-to-one sessions. This could include discussing how the student feels they learn best and the areas/ skills in English language/ English literature they struggle with the most. My experience as a SEND student will help me to support students with any additional needs. I am always happy to make changes to the structure or dynamics of lessons to better suit a student's additional needs.
