I have an English Language GCSE and experience supporting both adults and students in achieving their learning goals. I have supported my mum in developing her English speaking and writing skills, as well as working with GCSE students to improve their essay structure, vocabulary, and creative writing in line with exam requirements.

When teaching, I take a person-centred approach. I communicate with students to identify their areas for improvement and provide tailored one-to-one support to help them make progress.

My lessons include focused exam practice, which is essential for achieving the highest grades. I guide students through exam questions, discuss what is needed to reach higher mark bands, and use mark schemes to assess responses together. This allows for reflection and correction, helping students understand how to improve and apply feedback effectively.
