My lessons are friendly, structured, and focused on helping students feel confident in their learning. I take time at the start to understand each student’s level, what they find difficult, and what they want to achieve, so lessons feel useful and achievable from the beginning.

I’ve worked as both a teaching assistant and a supply teacher in schools, supporting pupils of different ages, abilities, and learning styles. This experience has made me adaptable and patient, and comfortable stepping into new situations and building quick rapport with students.

Lessons usually include clear explanations, worked examples, and plenty of practice. I break topics down into manageable steps and check understanding as we go, rather than rushing through content. Students are encouraged to ask questions and learn at their own pace, without pressure.

I adjust my approach depending on how a student learns best. This might involve visual explanations, repetition, practical tasks, or exam-style questions. I will set homework, revision, and help build confidence ahead of tests and assessments.

From my experience in supply teaching, I know that students learn best when they feel supported and understood. My goal is not just to improve grades, but to help students feel more comfortable, motivated, and independent in their learning. I aim to make lessons positive, engaging, and productive, so students leave feeling clearer and more confident than when they started.
