Amina Aletdin

Having achieved a grade 9 in GCSE biology, an A* at A-level and a First Class in my first year of a Biological Sciences BSc degree at university, I am confident in my ability to teach you everything you need to know to ace your exams.

I will break down complex concepts into easy-to-understand ideas using diagrams and examples so that you can gain a solid understanding of the topics you find difficult. I prefer to take an active approach to teaching, which means practice questions and personalised feedback, instead of just going over content!

I am very flexible and happy to adjust my teaching style for your individual needs, and I will regularly check-in to make sure we are going at your pace.

I will also set homework tasks in-between lessons so you can practice in your own time and solidify what you’ve already learned. My lessons will be a combination of going over feedback for these homework tasks, doing practice questions together and covering any content that you need extra support on.

I will aim to make every lesson a friendly and supportive environment rather than a daunting one, and a place where you are confident to ask any questions at all, no matter how small.
