I use an interactive format to teach students. I use the implementation of worksheets, and problem questions to 1) allow students to work through the law and its application to a hypothetical scenario, and 2) to prepare them for university life if they elect to study law in university - as many assessments will be based upon hypothetical situations. I also use multiple choice quizzes which allows students to see and understand how in some situations the same laws may be applied to a different set of circumstances. Other ways I teach is by asking students to "teach" me what they have learnt recently - he use of active recall and teaching naturally results in students learning and actually understanding the content they are given, rather than learning how to just answer a question.
My experience as a tutor currently only extends to providing help and support to my mentees in undergrad and providing clarification to other students on my course, and helping my siblings with their work - however these have all achieved results for everyone involved and I am confident in my ability to teach. My content will revolve around what the student personally wants out of their session - if they would like to work through past papers we will do so, if they would like to go over content they don't understand we will, I will curate my lessons around what the student feels they need help on in order to ensure they get the most out of their tutoring sessions with me. I will ask my students in the first session what they are feeling the least and most confident in, and what they would like to cover. At the end of each session, I will ask what my student wants to cover in the next session and create and source materials to use in the session and outside for self study.
