Hi future students! Here's some information about what lessons with me are like:

I like to use PowerPoints to present my lessons. I find that they are easier to use and understand as information will be given to you bit by bit, not all in one go where your brain finds it hard to comprehend. I also like to physically show how to use mathematic methods. I use basic vocabulary so then the children can understand what they are learning. Pictures and visuals will be used so then children can find it easier to understand the different methods and imagine it in real life scenarios. I currently do placement at a infant school where I support in development of maths and do one-to-one with children who may be struggling with their maths. When I teach, I like to make sure that children enjoy and understand properly what they are learning. I am more than happy to slow down with teaching if children are finding the lesson difficult. I have no problem with repeating lessons or showing methods - all I want is for the children to understand what they are learning. I am passionate about teaching and if you choose me as your child's tutor, you'll definitely see that come through in my lessons.
