Amber Eggleton

I am a qualified and experienced science teacher, teaching ages 11-18 (KS3-5) and specialising in chemistry at an Ofsted 'Outstanding' school in Norfolk. With extensive classroom and tutoring experience, I have helped students of all abilities build confidence, deepen their understanding, and achieve excellent examination results. My lessons are tailored to each student\'s individual needs, whether they are aiming to secure a pass, improve their grades, or achieve the highest marks. I break down complex scientific concepts into clear, manageable steps, using a supportive and engaging teaching style that encourages confidence and independent thinking. Outside of teaching I am also a GCSE examiner and team leader for a major exam board, giving me valuable insight into how examinations are assessed and what examiners look for in high-scoring answers. This experience enables me to provide students with expert exam preparation, effective revision strategies, and targeted feedback that helps maximise their marks. I am patient, student-focused, and have extensive experience working alongside those with SEND, in addition to having young family members with ADHD/ASD/SEMH. I believe that every student can succeed in science with the right guidance and encouragement. My goal is not only to improve exam performance but also to develop a genuine understanding of the subject, helping students feel prepared, motivated, and confident in their abilities.
