My lessons are interactive, structured, and tailored to each student’s needs, whether you are preparing for GCSE and A-Level exams or tackling undergraduate and postgraduate biology topics. I combine clear explanations of core concepts with practical examples and problem-solving exercises, ensuring students not only memorise facts but also develop a deep understanding and the ability to apply knowledge in exams, coursework, or research projects.

I have extensive experience as a University Lecturer and researcher, having guided students through laboratory work, data analysis, dissertation projects, and complex topics in marine and freshwater ecology, environmental science, and zoology. This experience allows me to adapt lessons to different levels, from beginners building foundational knowledge to advanced learners refining research skills.

Typically, lessons are 60–90 minutes, giving enough time to cover new material, review previous content, and complete interactive exercises. I encourage questions, discussions, and active participation, creating a supportive environment where students feel confident to explore ideas and clarify doubts.

Lessons can be delivered online or in-person, with flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends, so learning fits easily into your timetable.
