Since beginning tutoring with Amanda, my child has discovered a real passion for Science. He has missed a lot of school, was very anxious and had little confidence. Amanda's knowledge and her clear, calm, kind approach has helped my boy both academically and pastorally. She is pleasant , reliable , friendly and professional, with an excellent knowledge of the syllabus. I recommend her very highly indeed.

Amanda started tutoring my daughter this year. Within 3 months she had helped my daughter raise her A-level grade by 3 marks. She is kind and patient and explains things in a manor that make it easy to understand. She is a brilliant teacher and I would highly recommend her to anyone.

My daughter really enjoys her Biology A level tuition sessions with Amanda. The sessions are adapted and responsive to her needs, helping her with recaps, knowledge gaps and also working on how to answer exam questions in the best way possible, as this is a leap up from the requirements at GCSE level. Amanda is very encouraging, positive and has helped my daughter feel less anxious about her own capabilities, helping her to draw out her own knowledge and critical thinking. I would highly recommend her for others who need extra support for their Biology A Level.

My daughter wasnt “keen” on science but I thought she had potential if someone could give her confidence and let her ask questions.. Mandy gave her both of these. She encouraged the curiosity and my child now really enjoys the subject and her results have improved
