What to Expect from My Lessons
Hello! I’m Amanda Ellis, a prize wining artist and art instructor with years of experience helping people of all ages discover their creative side. My lessons are relaxed, encouraging, and tailored to you — whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills.
Lesson Format
Delivered online via Zoom or Google Meet, with clear step-by-step demonstrations.
Flexible lesson lengths (typically 60–90 minutes).
Opportunities to ask questions and get live feedback as you work.
Content & Dynamics
Core drawing skills: line work, shading, perspective, proportion, and composition.
Creative exercises to spark ideas and build confidence.
Practical tips for using different materials such as pencil, pen, ink, and watercolour for sketching.
Fun, achievable projects each lesson so you can see your progress.
My Approach
I break down techniques into easy steps so you feel confident from the start.
Every lesson is adapted to your skill level and pace.
I mix technical skill-building with creative exploration — so you learn while having fun.
My Experience
I run Curlytot Creations, where I teach art workshops, paint parties, and corporate wellness sessions. My experience spans children’s classes, adult beginners, and more advanced hobbyists. I specialise in making art approachable, engaging, and something you look forward to each week.
By the end of each lesson, you’ll not only have improved your drawing skills but also have created something you’re proud of — and had a great time doing it!
