Presentation (GCSE Physics)

My lessons are designed to help GCSE Physics students truly understand the subject, build confidence, and improve exam performance in a structured and supportive way.

I achieved a Grade 9 in GCSE Physics and am currently studying Aerospace Engineering at university, so I have a strong grasp of both the fundamentals and how physics is applied beyond school. More importantly, I clearly remember the challenges students face at GCSE level and how confusing the subject can feel without the right guidance.

Each lesson is carefully structured. We begin by identifying weak areas, either through discussion or targeted exam-style questions. I then explain concepts clearly using diagrams, step-by-step reasoning, and worked examples, focusing on why things work, not just memorising formulas. I use interactive questioning throughout the lesson to check understanding and build exam confidence.

A key focus of my tutoring is exam technique. We regularly work through GCSE exam questions together, breaking down mark schemes and learning how to secure marks efficiently. Homework is set between sessions to reinforce learning, and completed work is reviewed and marked with detailed feedback so that progress is continuous and measurable.

Lessons are delivered online using a digital whiteboard, allowing students to follow explanations clearly and revisit material after the session. I aim to create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing confidence in physics.

I offer weekly online lessons, with homework set between sessions, and current availability is mainly at weekends. My goal is not only to help students achieve high grades, but to help them develop a clear and logical understanding of GCSE Physics.
