Aliza Saeed

I’m Aliza, I am currently in university studying medicine. I will be offering tutoring for gcse biology and chemistry ,I have received a grade A at A level and grade 8 for GCSE’s. I have experience of mentoring prior to this with year 11 students for chemistry who’d ended up doing very well. I also offer SATs and Ks3 tutoring for maths, English and science. From going to a grammar school to now university as a medical student going in 3rd year, the sciences we have built our foundations on, such as chemistry and biology, never escape our minds and we keep building on those gcse and a level knowledge, hence I have a solid base of gcse content. Having successfully progressed through my own gcse and a levels studies not too long ago and ongoing university studies, I understand the challenges students can face when preparing for exams. I can offer not only subject knowledge but also practical advice on revision techniques, exam preparation, time management and building confidence. I will teach online via zoom , providing PowerPoints, mind maps and past papers, working through the specification and mark schemes, which is vital. Giving various resources to print out which will include worksheet questions advancing from grade 4 to grade 9 . Working through each sheet in lesson and then as homework. We will be working through the specification, if there are any struggling topics the students wants to review I will dedicate that lesson to those topics.
