I achieved a 7 in Higher Level Visual Arts in the IB Diploma Programme and am now studying Engineering and Architecture at the Bartlett School of Architecture, where creativity and design are central to my work. I have experience teaching and tutoring in a variety of contexts, from leading IB study groups to informal one-to-one sessions with peers and younger students. My skill set spans analogue methods (drawing, painting, mixed media) and digital tools for design and visual storytelling, enabling me to support students at various levels, whether preparing portfolios, tackling IB assessments, or simply developing their artistic confidence.
Having lived in Egypt, Pakistan, Sweden, the US, and Abu Dhabi, I bring a cross-cultural perspective to my teaching and enjoy helping students explore and express their own cultural identities through art. My approach is tailored to each student’s needs and learning style: I begin by identifying their goals and interests, then collaboratively build a study plan. Lessons balance technical instruction with open-ended exploration, encouraging students to develop both practical skills and critical thinking. I often draw on examples from diverse cultures and art movements to broaden perspective, spark inspiration, and support students in creating meaningful, personal work.
