My lessons are designed to be structured, supportive, and engaging, drawing on my experience supervising undergraduate research projects, leading Small Group Discussions (SGDs) and Problem-Based Learning (PBL) sessions, and teaching at university level. Each session begins with a clear discussion of the student’s goals and current challenges, whether related to study skills, confidence, organisation, or academic progress. I use a coaching-based approach that blends practical guidance with reflective learning, encouraging students to think critically about their habits, strengths, and areas for improvement.
Building on my background in student mentoring, teaching, assessment, and feedback, I incorporate evidence-based study strategies, time-management tools, and structured learning activities that support focus and independent thinking. My lessons often include guided discussions, goal-setting exercises, skill-building tasks, and opportunities for students to reflect on their progress. I place strong emphasis on supportive communication and constructive feedback, similar to my role in supervising students, evaluating academic work, and facilitating research and learning environments.
Because of my experience organising workshops, academic activities, and collaborative learning environments, my sessions are interactive and motivating rather than lecture-style. I aim to create a safe and encouraging space where students feel comfortable sharing their concerns, asking questions, and developing confidence in both their academic abilities and personal growth.
Overall, my lessons are suitable for learners who want structured guidance, accountability, and encouragement, as well as practical strategies they can apply in their everyday study routines. My goal is to help students manage stress, stay organised, build resilience, and feel more capable and confident in their academic journey.
