3. Then I give you a summary of what this lesson will be and what you will know by the end.
4. I show you where the lesson will be in your overall lesson plan. If the lesson plan needs changing, we can change it any time.
5. I introduce the new skill that we will learn and we practice it. It could be a speaking, listening, reading or writing skill. It may often be grammar, pronunciation or writing, as many students find that these are the hardest things to get right.
6. We then do some exercises or worksheets and play a game, using the new skill. It is important to have fun!
7. I can then show you what you've learned, and how it is related to learning that you've done before or plan to do in the future.
8. If you want homework, I can make sure you have some new exercises to do, a game to play or a video to watch - maybe comprehension work.
BONUS - If you have a special event coming up, such as meeting English speakers or having an exam, we can go over things you want to learn for those, such as specialist subjects or topics.
I also teach English for Academic Purposes and Scientific / Technical English.
