My lessons are geared to suit the learners needs, but generally the lessons aim to be interactive and fun. I aim to get to know the learners and will firstly ask them how they’d prefer to learn. I will personalise and adapt my lessons accordingly to meet the needs of all learners. I focus how lessons can apply in real-life to make it relatable to learners and easier to apply their skills.

I want the learners to be able to ask questions and take risks in learning. It is important the learners know that ‘making mistakes’ is good, and we can learn from them together as a team. In saying that, I prioritise my questioning techniques during lessons and prefer to ask open-ended questions to encourage exploration and critical thinking skills.

Overall, I am there to support the learner and I am keen to make a difference in their learning. I can be depended upon to work hard for the learners in my care.
