Alice Durell

Qualified Teacher (PGCE, QTS) with six years' teaching experience across Further Education, Mainstream Secondary and Specialist SEN settings. My background includes teaching Engineering at college level, delivering Mathematics across KS2–KS4, and supporting autistic learners through highly personalised teaching approaches. My teaching style is calm, adaptable and encouraging, with a strong focus on building confidence, developing independence and helping every learner reach their potential. I believe the best learning happens when students feel understood. Every learner is different, and I enjoy adapting my teaching to build confidence as well as knowledge. Whether supporting a GCSE Maths student, teaching a child with autism, or helping an adult return to piano, my aim is always to create enjoyable lessons that lead to genuine, lasting progress.
