Ali Mustafa

I’m Ali, a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate at Imperial College London.

I've achieved 4 A*s at A-Level (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Chemistry) and all 9s/A*s at GCSE/IGCSE, and I have over a year of experience tutoring online. I can tutor students in Physics and Mathematics at GCSE and A-Level.

I like to keep my lessons simple. I start by briefly assessing the student's understanding of the topic, then work through a couple of example questions to demonstrate the correct approach, asking questions throughout to check understanding.


I then ask students to solve a number of practice questions more independently, encouraging them to think out loud while doing so, which allows me to identify any flaws in their reasoning. If they get stuck on a question, I give them some time to think before guiding them with prompts and referring back to similar examples we've already covered.


That being said, I'm more than happy to adapt my lesson style based on each student's individual situation.
