My lessons are friendly, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals. I usually start with warm-ups and technique exercises, then move on to songs or pieces the student enjoys, incorporating theory, rhythm, and improvisation along the way. Lessons are a mix of practical playing, creative exploration, and structured learning, with opportunities to perform, write songs, or play in ensembles if the student wants.
I have over 7 years of teaching experience with beginners and developing players of all ages, in schools, music services, and private tuition. I also draw on my professional performance experience, including live shows, session work, and musical theatre, to bring real-world musicianship into every lesson. My aim is always to make learning guitar fun, rewarding, and confidence-building.
