Maths can often feel frustrating when lessons move too quickly or explanations do not quite click. Hence, I aim to create lessons that are tailored to each student, breaking down topics into clear, manageable steps and working at a pace that suits their individual needs.

I offer maths tuition for students of all abilities, from primary school through to A-level. Whether their goal is to build confidence, strengthen their understanding, improve their grades or prepare for exams, I provide support to help them reach their goals!

I have recently completed a Mathematics degree at the University of Leeds, and I achieved A*A in A-level Maths and Further Maths, so it's safe to say I have a very strong understanding of the subject across a wide range of levels.

I began tutoring in sixth form where I tutored pupils in younger years, and since then have continued tutoring throughout university, both privately and through companies. I've helped students work towards their 11+ and GCSEs, as well as providing general support with schoolwork, difficult topics and confidence building.

Every student learns differently, so I enjoy collaborating with each student and adapting my approach until we find the method that works for them. I begin by identifying any gaps in understanding, then explain each topic clearly using step-by-step examples before giving the student the opportunity to practise independently. I also use past-paper questions, exam techniques and regular recap activities to build confidence and strengthen problem-solving skills.
My aim is to make maths feel more approachable and help every student leave each lesson feeling more confident, capable and motivated.
