Every student learns differently, therefore my lessons are tailored for every student as individuals. I understand that people learn at different paces- and that's okay! My lessons are designed for everyone regardless of prior knowledge, age or level as I am experienced in simplifying complex concepts to even the most basic levels whilst also providing a sense of wonder about the amazing world we live in! Science and maths underpins everything from the air we breathe to the cars we drive. It is my goal to inspire more people to pursue and understand the beauty of science and mathematics because it is essential to understanding the world we live in. I have a very dynamic method of teaching which enables the student to both enjoy the subject and memorise abstract concepts. Believing in cognitive science, I apply principles like metacognition and retrieval practice to get the most out of our time. The lessons can range from an hour to 4 hours or longer depending on the needs of the student. This is perfect if they often feel overwhelmed when studying and need to take regular breaks or struggle to concentrate for long periods of time. Every student learns in their own way and I feel as though it is my duty to accommodate that to make learning as accessible and enjoyable as possible. I hope my passion for STEM can help inspire students to think more deeply about the foundations of the world we live in. After all, understanding yields passion. I find that very rewarding.
