Hi there, I’m Alex!

I'm a professional musician and performer who graduated from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2023, where I trained in Musical Theatre with a strong focus on both singing and instrumental performance.

While I specialise in a Musical Theatre style of singing, I also have experience in multiple genres and have a strong foundation in classical voice from many years of classical lessons and singing in choirs from a young age.

I focus on strong technique, vocal health and bringing character to your performance. There are many ways to sing a song and my job is to help you find the best way for you to sing the songs you want to sing!

I will help you find repertoire which can be tailored to auditions, performances, or just for fun! So long as you are enjoying the process, then that's half the battle done.

I also offer guidance on applying to drama school, including help with repertoire, monologues, and acting coaching.

If you're looking for a graded route, I can offer mentorship up to Grade 5 Music Theory and I will endeavour to include real world examples of the uses of music theory in our lessons.

I am also very happy to offer extra support outside of lesson time (free of charge, at my discretion). This could include:

Providing written feedback on recordings sent during the week.
Answering questions about music, acting, or singing.
Helping with anything else that might come up in your musical journey.
