Focus will be placed on what works for the student to learn and understand the content with an aim to build a second nature understanding of the content and improved grades.

Specific content, formats and focus will be tailored to the student, follow (and where needed, conceptually supplemented for the purposes of understanding) their curriculum. Format's will be consistent or varied to suit the student's learning and what is needed to reinforce and internalise the key learning. Further to this, formats will also be tailored to account for the nature of the specific content e.g. conceptual, factual, mathematical etc.

As a starting point, lessons will include refreshers, signposting, conceptual checks to ensure the key ideas are correctly internalised, key learning highlights and, as a practical subject, include real world examples and practical examples where possible. Provide and guide generation of personalised summary note documentation to improve student's self-study. Tutoring content can be delivered both in-person and online where tools can be tailored to both the audience and the facilities available.

My experience: PhD qualified and chartered chemist with over 10 years industrial experience, with practical work spanning lab-pilot-plant scales and high hazard work, so I know what it requires to pass exams but also to apply that learning safely in real-world practice. I have delivered both introductory and expert training for companies internally and externally on a variety of topics around industrial chemistry in addition to tutoring university level, GCSE, Higher and Advanced Higher level content. This content has been delivered both in-person and online where demonstrations and tools have been tailored to both the audience and the facilities available.
