Hello everyone, my name is Alex, and I’m currently pursuing a PhD in molecular medicine at The Italian institute of Technology. My academic journey has given me a deep appreciation for the value of clear understanding, consistent practice, and strategic preparation—principles I bring into my approach to tutoring.
Over the years, I’ve found that students often struggle not because they lack ability, but because they lack familiarity with the format and expectations of exams. That’s why I place a strong emphasis on using past papers and exam-style questions in my tutoring sessions. These resources are incredibly effective for identifying recurring themes, understanding how topics are assessed, and building the confidence needed to tackle even the most challenging problems under exam conditions.
My goal is not just to help students get the right answers, but to help them understand why the answers are right—fostering deeper learning and long-term retention. By working through past papers together, I help students develop critical thinking skills, time management strategies, and a clear sense of what examiners are looking for.
Whether it’s breaking down complex topics, clarifying tricky mark schemes, or building structured revision plans, I aim to tailor each session to meet the student’s individual needs and goals. I’m passionate about making learning both effective and empowering, and I look forward to helping my students reach their full academic potential.
Thank you!
