• Concentration on identifying weak points - starting from foundational concepts, working through until misunderstanding is found.
• Importance of problem-solving - presenting problems of increasing difficulty, talking through different approaches, discussing the thought process behind each question to build problem-solving pathways
• Emphasis on becoming exam ready - mastering mark schemes, examiner language, identifying what is needed
• Go through content students are struggling with - re-explain concepts, go through homework, clear up misunderstandings

• Kind - it is very important to me that nobody feels as if they are not academically capable
• Cambridge supervision style - one on one, rigorous, personalised, extension beyond the syllabus if desired

Content:
• Differs by student depending on their goals
• If exams are looming: lots of past papers, emphasis on syllabus, mastering the mark scheme, understanding and remembering content
• If there is no clear goal: work through topics that need the most help, write my own questions, go beyond typical syllabus content to enrich education

• volunteer teaching children - I design these lessons myself
• maths class assistant - selected for this role, assisted my teachers in collaboration projects where they taught local children mathematics
