I have 9 years' teaching experience as an Art and Design Teacher and have taught students aged 9-18. I have taught GCSE, A-Level and IB Visual Arts courses, as well as the UK KS2 and KS3 Art curriculum. My students have earned excellent results, most recently with 62.5% achieving 7s at IB this year and 42.9% achieving Grades 7-9 at GCSE in 2025. Three of my students over the past 4 years have earned the highest marks in the country (Singapore) for Pearson Edexcel GCSE Art and Design.

I have always loved Art and enjoy helping students to nurture their own passion for the subject. As an Art Teacher, I am able to deliver projects that cater to your individual interests as an art student, or support with portfolio advice. My projects are inspired by a spectrum of historical and contemporary artists, from diverse cultural and geographical backgrounds and I help my students gain a deeper understanding of art works' through learning about context and culture. Although I specialise in contemporary sculpture, my technical skills are strong and I enjoy working across a range of media and materials, including drawing, painting and print-making.

As your Art Tutor, I am especially interested in learning about your ideas and what you feel passionate about expressing - whether that be something figurative or abstract; drawn or sculpted; inspired by Pablo Picasso or Vincent Van Gogh! I will coach you towards creating the best possible outcomes to represent them.
