I focus on exposing students to the widest amount of authentic German possible. Learning vocabulary, often in chunks, will therefore be key. Developing a feel for the language helps no end when trying to compose your own German.
Grammar is also important, and I will tailor my teaching of this to your level and the goal that you have set yourself.
