Alex Edwards

I am an A-Level student at Thomas Telford School currently preparing for exams this summer. I gained a pleasing set of GCSE results at Oldbury Wells School, including a grade 9 and 8 in GCSE maths and further maths respectively. I plan to study economics at university next year, with an aim to engage in a career in business or finance. I have previously worked as a Year 11 maths mentor at Madeley Academy, with direction from Thomas Telford School, so I have previous experience tutoring GCSe students.

Lesson formats are completely dependent on the student. I am happy to adapt to the their needs and wants. Generally I will plan each lesson depending on the previous, with an aim to get through as much content as possible, whilst ensuring clarity and understanding. I plan to fully utilise past exam questions alongside teaching content, to assist with the students application of knowledge. I can provide all necessary equipment for in person lessons.
