My name is Alessio.
I was born and bred in Italy and lived there until I was 27; I then moved to London, where I've lived and worked for the past 12 years.
I've both Italian and British citizenship.
I have an exceptional command of Italian and English, including an insightful approach to grammar and punctuation.
I am also a fervent advocate for spontaneity and intuition, and I believe there's a different learning approach for each of us.
Therefore, whether you want to do conversation with some grammatical notions peppered here and there, or you'd like a more traditional approach featuring structured classes etc., I'm the right option for you.
Whether you've just come back from Italy and decided to take up learning its beautiful language, or you're already quite fluent and would like to fine-tune your vocabulary or master the notoriously intimidating Italian grammar, this is the place for you!
I am interested in all kinds of topics, so we can talk about anything and have conversations ranging from entertainment to politics.
I've read many reference books about both Italian and English languages ("Eats, shoots, and leaves" anyone...?), so I am best placed to draw informed and well-thought-out comparisons between the two.
I offer classes in all formats: remote, at my place or I can come to yours, although there would be small extra charges for the latter.
I am also very confident in teaching and talking to a group of people, not necessarily one-to-one.
