My lessons are aimed at learning Italian grammar and phonetics through continuous communication with the teacher, watching videos and readings, based on levels. I usually use visual cues such as icons, images and videos to keep students interested in the content. I also promote to write notes during the lesson. I segment students into groups, in this way they can discuss subjects and learn about the perspectives of others. While group projects can be exciting opportunities for students, it's also importan for me to promote individual learning so that my students can work by themselves. By assigning short tasks I try to give students time to think and assimilate what they learned during the lesson.
I always keep in mind the different needs of my students to make the study environment positive and effective. We work together to develop the four languages skills: listening, communicating, reading and writing skills. I am always available for clarifications and further explanations of the topic covered. There is no rush and the goals are achieved taking into account the times of each student. I personally prepare the material in order to make it clear and students will receive it before every lesson.
