I am an Italian journalist and writer with a deep passion for language, culture, and communication. Over the years, I have combined these interests into a teaching style that makes learning Italian both effective and enjoyable. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students master grammar and vocabulary, but also to give them a genuine connection to Italy’s vibrant cultural life.
I believe that a language is best learned when it is experienced in all its dimensions. That is why my lessons go beyond textbooks and are enriched with cinema, literature, music, pop culture, and food traditions. Watching Italian films together helps students discover authentic dialogue, regional accents, and the social issues that have shaped modern Italy. Reading literature — from the classics to contemporary authors — enhances vocabulary and fosters more nuanced conversations about style and meaning. Music and popular songs make lessons lively and memorable, helping students grasp rhythm, idioms, and wordplay. Pop culture and current events ensure the language feels relevant and alive.
Food culture is also a central aspect of my teaching. Italy’s cuisine is one of its most beloved cultural expressions, and exploring recipes, culinary traditions, and the language of the table offers a fun and engaging way to learn about the country's culinary heritage. Students not only practice Italian but also understand the values of community, history, and creativity that food represents.
Above all, I design lessons to be dynamic, personalised, and inspiring. With me, learning Italian becomes an immersive journey into the culture, creativity, and everyday life of my country.
