Alessandra Read

I am a supportive and engaging tutor specialising in GCSE and A-level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, as well as early university-level life sciences. With a strong academic background in science and neuroscience, I help students not only understand content but also develop confidence, exam technique, and independent learning skills.

I am UCL-trained, currently completing a Master’s in Neuroscience, with a particular interest in translational medicine and how science applies in real-world and clinical settings. I achieved A* grades at school and understand what examiners and lecturers are looking for, as well as the pressures students face.

My lessons are aimed at GCSE, A-level and university students who want clear explanations, structured support, and a calm learning environment, whether they are building foundations, improving confidence, or aiming for top grades.
