I joined Alessandra's classes as a post-beginner. Her teaching was excellent and within just months my Italian improved through the intermediate stages and on to an advanced level. Alessandra's explanation of grammar and idioms was very clear. We covered many interesting topics and texts, studying both formal and colloquial language. The important thing is that Alessandra always taught us with a smile on her face and made the whole learning experience such fun.

Alessandra Noi is an excellent teacher. She is thorough and explains everything in detail until the student really understands and is able to use it in special exercises. Alessandra is an excellent teacher who provides stimulating lessons which are very interesting as well as challenging. She is the best Italian teacher I have ever had. She has not only given me some excellent skills in the Italian language but has also provided me with interesting and valuable cultural experiences to enhance my understanding of Italy and Italian culture and customs. Moreover her enthusiasm for her subject is infectious and makes the lessons very lively and entertaining. Personally I am really happy that she also takes the time and effort to teach grammatical points for those students interested in perfecting their skills in Italian. Her method of teaching oral/aural skills has resulted in being more able to converse with Italians when travelling in Italy, including taxi drivers! I am so impressed with her fantastic skills as an Italian teacher. Thank you for teaching me so much Alessandra!

Alessandra’s lessons are well structured and interesting, each lesson has a balance of speaking, listening and grammar. The lesson is almost entirely carried out in Italian which is particularly good for your listening and speaking skills. Alessandra is very patient, approachable and empathetic and cares about her students. She is always prepared to go the extra mile, whether it is involving us in out of class activities which enhance our experience of Italian culture or providing catch up lessons when we cannot attend one of her lessons. As an adult learner I would highly recommend Alessandra, I have been attending her classes for several years now and look forward to them every week!

Alessandra’s lessons are always well prepared and include a good balance of listening, reading, writing and speaking. She speaks Italian for as much of the lesson as possible, (depending on level) and always makes sure the students understand everything. The subject matter is always interesting and relevant with Italian culture, history, grammar and everyday life important features. She is keen to see her students make good progress and does her best to provide catch up lessons for any that are missed. I’ve had several teachers of Italian and Alessandra is the best.
