I'm a professional guitarist, bassist and music teacher based in South Wimbledon, London. With over a decade of experience playing, performing and recording, I've made myself a solid foundation as a working session musician in the UK music scene.
Originally from Norway, my love for music started early and I began taking guitar lessons at 9 years old. That passion led me to move abroad to London, where I took a Bachelor's degree in Popular Music Performance. Since then, I've performed at venues and festivals across the UK and internationally, including the Islington Assembly Hall, Whelan’s (Dublin), Victorious Festival, and DeWolffest (Netherlands). My session work has been with a wide range of artists and bands, spanning genres from pop and R&B to rock and jazz/fusion.
My teaching approach is relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each student’s goals and musical taste. Whether you are 8 or 80 years old, have big ambitions or just want to play as a hobby, my goal is to make playing fun and inspiring.
I combine practical playing with simple explanations so you not only learn songs and techniques, but also understand the music behind them. Lessons can cover technique, songs, improvisation, theory, creativity, and recording skills, all drawing from my experience as a working guitarist and bassist.
Lessons typically last 45–60 minutes and are structured to keep you engaged while making clear progress. I teach teenagers and adults at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels — whether you’re starting from scratch, improving your skills, or looking to develop your own musical voice.
