Aleena Jussab

I am currently a second-year Engineering Science student at the University of Oxford, with a strong academic background in Maths, Physics, and Biology. Having achieved 3A's at A-Levels and grade 9's across all my GCSE subjects, I understand what it takes to succeed in examinations, as well as how to develop excellent exam technique and thorough understanding of challenging topics.

My approach to tutoring is flexible and tailored to each individual student. At the beginning of our lessons, I like to identify a student's strengths and areas for improvement through discussion, past work, or a short assessment. This allows me to create a personalised plan to focus on the topics they struggle most with.

My lessons can be adapted to suit different learning styles and preferences. Whether students prefer working digitally on a tablet, or writing on paper with a document camera, I am happy to use the format that suits them best.

Depending on the student's goals, my lessons may focus on building core understanding, practising difficult questions, improving exam technique, or working through past papers. I am also open to setting homework between sessions, allowing students to consolidate their learning and receive detailed feedback about their progress.

Throughout school and university, I have regularly tutored friends, classmates and family members with academic work, developing the ability to explain complex ideas patiently and clearly.

My goal is to help students achieve their target grades, but also to help build confidence in their learning, and to help them develop smart and efficient revision strategies.
