I have more than 17 years of experience teaching Spanish to students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced learners. I teach all CEFR levels (A1–C2), as well as GCSE and A-Level Spanish.

My lessons are fully tailored to each student’s needs, goals and pace. Whether you are preparing for an exam, improving your conversation skills, learning Spanish for work or preparing for travel, I adapt my lessons to what you want to achieve.

I believe that building a good relationship with each student is an important part of effective learning. I aim to create a relaxed, supportive and positive atmosphere where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and talking openly about anything they find difficult. During the first class, I take the time to assess each student's level, needs and goals, and I continue to adapt my lessons as they progress.

I provide my own materials and use a variety of online resources and tools to make lessons practical, engaging and effective. I believe that the best way to learn a language is to use it, so I encourage students to practise Spanish and build confidence from the beginning.

Qualifications & experience

I hold a Degree in Translation and Interpreting from Spain and a Postgraduate qualification in Pedagogy, also obtained in Spain. I currently collaborate with several Spanish universities, training Master’s students who are preparing to become Spanish teachers, and have been doing so for over 5 years.
