I run a friendly piano teaching practise, where I trust students feel relaxed and can enjoy lessons, feel free to ask questions and learn piano and reading of music. I work at your pace and teach patiently and guide you in how to practice. Basic lesson structure consists of sight reading, scales and course material. I have been teaching since November 1988 so have many years of experience. Parents stay to lessons when teaching your children (up to 18 years). I aim to make the whole lesson experience as enjoyable as possible. As you progress we can start to explore pieces you might like to want to play, and if you feel you may like to take piano exams I can take you up to grade 5, with the possibility of grades 6 and 7 after you have done grade 5 theory. However, most people come to me to either start their journey in learning piano or to improve or restart after a break. Most do piano as a hobby, using my approach for guidance and structure along the way.
